Variety of machining methods
@
CADCEUS can handle composite free form curved surfaces. CADCEUS provides various machining methods, which enable flexible specification of ranges, directions, tools and so on. CADCEUS creates precise NC data with no residual portions even if a work piece has a complex shape. CADCEUS CAM allows various types of tools such as ball end mill, flat end mill (with corner R) and tapered ball end mill.

Scan machining/Contour machiningDetails
It is possible to machine specified area by scan machining or contour machining.
CADCEUS can automatically detect residuals of scan machining, and can create cutter paths orthogonal to former ones for removing residuals.
CADCEUS can automatically detect residual portions of contour machining, and can create scanning type cutter paths or spiral cutter paths for removing residuals.
Rough machining can be performed by contour offset machining or contour scanning machining.

Boundary machining/Residual machiningDetails
CADCEUS can automatically detect concave edge portions of the target shape, and can create cutter paths by boundary machining or residual machining with two or more tools.

Curve projection machining and Along wall/surface machiningDetails
CADCEUS can create various types of cutter paths such as offset, spiral and radial for target surfaces.
It can also create cutter paths along surfaces in order to raise precision of finish machining, which is especially useful for abrupt walls.
