	Even after a shape model is created, some design change or examination of various alternative ideas could be necessary. It is parametric modeling to facilitate these jobs. The user is only asked to directly change interested parameters or dimensions. Then, the system automatically reconstruct the shape model so that revised shape model becomes completely consistent with specified parameter or dimension changes. Specific CADCEUS feature of reconstruction is that it is capable of minimum reconstruction. The system automatically judges what portion of the shape model should be reconstructed according to specified parameter or dimension changes. Full reconstruction is very rare. This feature is extremely helpful for minimizing reconstruction time when the shape model is very large and complicated.

Modification of dimension and reconstruction Shape model is reconstructed after the parametric dimensions such as distance dimensions and radius dimensions are changed on the screen. Before After Modification of log and reconstruction You may reconstruct shape model not only by parametric dimension but by modifying operations log. Before After Cancellation of some part of operations log CADCEUS can reconstruct a model where some operations are cancelled. Before After Inactivation of some part of oprations log Some portion of the shape model can be temporarily inactivated.
