Powerful functions of fillet, draft surface and composite surface offset
Powerful surface functions
@
CADCEUS strongly supports design work by powerful functions such as filleting, creating a free blended surface and ceating a draft surface. It has also an offset function which allows shelling and variable offset of which typical usage is automatic creation of inner surfaces of a bumper based on outer surfaces.

Fillet
CADCEUS generates fillet surfaces and embeds them into pertaining shape model only by specifying boudary curves to be rounded and radii. It can also create variable radius fillets.

Offset of a composite surface
CADCEUS enables offsetting of the whole composite surface.

Before

After

Extrusion
It is possible to partially deform a compsite surface partially by extruding and/or rotating specified shape with one command.

Before

After

Batch union operation of composite surfaces
CADCEUS can perform automatic topological connection of an imported shape model from other CAD systems.

Draft surface creation
Consideration of draft is available in two shapes, one at the time of shape creation, the other modifying existing shape.
Draft base curve Creating of a draft surface by
using the base curve and ruling surface shape

Shelling
CADCEUS can make a shell solid for all composite surfaces. Moreover, ribs and bosses can be easily created by special functions.
